This resource is guaranteed to give you ideas for programs you never even knew existed! But we've organized it soit's not overwhelming. We have descriptions from several programs that have chosen to be featured in this resource; they are for every age and interest, from babies through teens. Get some great ideas for after-school and weekend stuff your kids can do! | Little Beakers Science Lab for Kids Complement your child's traditional science classes at school with a superb after-school science program developed by a real polymers chemist. It will simply feel like 50 minutes of pure fun to the kids but will actually be giving them the concentrated hands-on experience needed to really drive home the week's key concepts and learning. Always with our trademark hands-on activities, Little Beakers students will also learn the how, why and what of molecules through the use of molecular model sets, use microscopes, study the Periodic Table, and follow up hands-on experiments with the completion of reports showing their results, observations and conclusions. |

Upstage Arts Youth Theater We are dedicated to offering children the full theater experience in a positive and supportive manner. Upstage Arts encourages student participation in every aspect of each production including building and painting sets, running the technical booth, selling concessions, and working backstage during performances. Children who are responsible and show enthusiasm for creating an outstanding performance have the opportunity to perform in lead roles and even direct in our summer workshops. Crescendo Family Music Crescendo family music offers Music Together classes for kids ages birth to 5 with (at least one) adult. We focus on bringing Music, Family, and Community together.We have added additional weekday classes starting in the fall, including Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
