Bayou City Fencing Academy at Meyerland

Fencing is more than a sport. Also known as "physical chess", fencing teaches tactical thinking while challenging each student to think quickly and apply analytical skills to outsmart their opponent. Many top tier universities around the country offer scholarships for fencers.Fencing is also supported by the US Fencing Association to overse the olympic and national team programs. Our fencers train at our state of the art 25,000 sq ft facility located in Meyerland. With such a large venue we have been the host venue for local, state and national tournaments.Our fencers have received medals at all levels of these competitions.  In the 2014 National Championships we brought home  gold silver and bronze medals. We also offer classes in the Woodlands and Cy fair,and we have an extensive after school program in HISD and Pasadena .Our foundation, the Spirit of Youth Fencing Foundation teaches fencing to kids identified as at-risk.
