FAMILY DAY: ALL ABOUT WATER

Discover the wonders of maritime exploration and life on the water HMM’s Family Days! During select Saturdays each month, join us for crafting, board games, and activities designed to put you in the role of maritime history’s most famous figures. Admission to the museum is free all day on Family Days!

Families are invited to the museum for free to celebrate all things water! Special activities will include: Constructing miniature underwater habitats, crafting paper cups with the Texas Center for African American Living History, experimenting with different water filtration devices, and testing a model oil skimmer from the Texas General Land Office.
