The Houston Shakespeare Festival Conservatory (HSFC) is a rigorous 17 day, intensive summer camp for high school students, focusing on teaching Shakespeare performance and exposing students to the professional theatre world. Students will live on campus at the University of Houston Cougar Village dorms and will take classes at the School of Theatre & Dance, with performances at Miller Outdoor Theatre.

The HSF Conservatory is designed to give high school students:

 

    One-on-one Master Classes with professionals in acting, voice, text analysis, stage combat and much more.

    Opportunity to perform at Houston's premiere summer theatre festival and be seen by over 25,000 spectators.

    Develop and perform a showcase of scenes and monologues.

    Create and present two Green Shows and Shakespearean Sonnets at Miller Outdoor Theatre.
