During the Figlia summer cooking camps, your young chefs will stir up fun during these very hands-on classes, learning all about the basics and beyond of creating yummy restaurant-style dishes. Over the four-day camps, kids will learn about kitchen and knife safety (don’t worry, all kids start out with the kid-safe Curious Chef knives), explore new flavors and foods and learn about baking sautéing, roasting and more techniques. Kids will build on skills throughout the week and on day 4, they’ll create their own unique dishes using the skills they have learned in Chopped Jr.-type competitions! At Figlia, we truly see kids’ confidence and self-esteem grow, as they proudly create and serve dishes they make themselves, increasing their independence and broadening their eating habits, trying new foods they would never try on their own! Kids eat everything they make at Figlia, so tummies will leave full and hearts will leave happy!

Menus are TBD  A few things to note:

• Camps for ages 7-17 and are drop-off only
• Camps run about 2 hours
• Tuition is refundable up to 7 days before the session begins – if your child is sick, you will be given a credit toward future classes – NO REFUNDS AVAILABLE up to 7 days before session begins, as costs are already incurred for your child’s sport
• Classes are only available as a four-day series, no single-day enrollments or refunds given
• If a child is removed from camp for disregarding the kitchen safety rules, there will be no refund
• For safety reasons, please send kids to camp wearing close-toe shoes, (no sandals) and long hair pulled back in a ponytail
• A waiver during the registration process must be signed
• Please indicate via the registration process if there are any food allergies (we are a nut-free kitchen, but can not accommodate gluten-free or other dietary restrictions at this time)
