Revel in the majesty of the moon and the joys of the harvest as we celebrate the Vietnamese Mid-Autumn Festival. Explore Vietnamese and Asian culture! Don't forget to bring your camera! 

SPECIAL EVENTS:

• Mid-Autumn Festival Lanterns: Crease, pleat and fold yourself a traditional lantern. 
  • Event time: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at Kids' Hall Alcove. 
• Mid- Autumn Photo: Capture a timeless keepsake in front of a beautiful Mid-Autumn backdrop.  
  • Event time: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at Kids' Hall Alcove. 
• Face Painting: Use a stencil template to paint your face in celebration of the Mid-Autumn festival.
  • Event time: 10 a.m.- 4 p.m at Kids' Hall Alcove. 
• Lion Dancers: Watch the Hung Vuong school of Vietnamese language perform a traditional lion dance. 
  • Event time: 10:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Brown Auditorium. 
• DIY Costume Workshop: Create your own jaw-dropping Mid-Autumn Festival costume using tradition patterns and craft materials.
  • Event time: 11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. at Brown Auditorium. 
• Vietnamese Story Time: Listen to traditional Vietnamese folktales and take a mini-language lesson in Vietnamese.
  • Event time: 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at Parent Resource Library. 
• Lavang Lion Dancers: Enjoy a traditional acrobatic dance in celebration of Mid-Autumn festival.
  • Event time: 2 p.m. at Brown Auditorium. 
• Vovinam Vietnamese Martial Arts: The Hoa Lu Center students will amaze you as they present a one of a kind Vietnamese Martial Arts demonstration.
  • Event time: 3:00 p.m. - 3:15 p.m. at Brown Auditorium.
• Lantern Parade: Show off your lantern in a traditional parade with your friends and family.
  • Event time: 3:30 and 4:00 p.m. at Brown Auditorium.
