Through almost non-stop song and dance, this full-hearted musical tells the story of Ti Moune, a peasant girl who rescues and falls in love with Daniel, a wealthy boy from the other side of her island.

Two Week Summer Camp at BATAVA

Once on This Island Jr

Camp Dates: June 15th - June 26th, 2015 
Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM 
for Two (2) Weeks 

Performances will be held on the following Dates and Times: 

Friday, June 26th at 7:00 PM

Saturday, June 27th at 2:30 PM and 7:00 PM 

 Sunday, June 28th at 2:30 PM 

Students must attend all classes and performances!




 Registration Requirements for All Students


Age Requirements: Students Entering Grades 6th-12th ONLY 

Please fill out an online registration form and we will contact you regarding your registration. This camp is for all levels of experience from beginner to advanced.

Registration is limited! All students are accepted. 

Auditions are held within the first day of camp. All roles are open!


GENERAL SUMMER CAMP INFORMATION

BATAVA Summer Camps include the following:

All the water a student can drink. 
We provide the water cooler the student must bring a re-usable bottle for their water. Water bottles can be purchased at BATAVA.

A script and a practice CD for rehearsal purposes.

All costumes are provided by BATAVA!

Students are required to provide the following items: 

Required class attire which consists of black jazz pants to the ankles, 
a plain black t-shirt or any BATAVA shirt,
black jazz shoes and black athletic socks. 
This is a mandatory dress code that must be followed. 
This required attire will be worn under the students costumes.
 General Hygiene products include make up for the production.


Lunches: Students must provide their own lunch.
 A sack lunch should be brought by the student daily. 
Please monitor the sugar intake when making your children's lunches.

No outside food is allowed in from a fast food restaurant. 
The student's must "brown bag it" daily.


Snacks: Students must provide their own snacks.
 We will allow two daily snack breaks. Please pack nutritious snacks to keep their energy high!



In Class Auditions & Casting Information
All students will be auditioned during the first day of camp. 
Students will be taught how to audition. We will have cold readings from the script and we will work on how to improve your readings. They will also learn a song from the show
and a simple dance combination.

ALL CASTING IS FINAL 
Every role is important and we hope that students (and parents) realize that everyone has to work together for the production to be successful. If a “problem” (as defined by the Artistic Director) arises out of a student (or parent) not receiving their desired role, the student will be removed from the production. If a student drops from the production due to not receiving a desired role the following penalties will arise: no refund of any monies collected and the Artistic Director of BATAVA may deny me entry for any class, lesson or production for one calendar year. 


Tuition & Fees Information

Down Payment: $100 Reserves spot in camp and is non refundable.

Once you register online, a representative will contact you

regarding your down payment to reserve your spot in the camp.

Your child's spot is not reserved until the down payment has been received.

Camp Tuition: $495 per student

Down Payment: $100 per student

Total Camp Cost: $595 + any applicable fees

One Time New Student Registration Fee: $30

Payment Plans can be arranged if needed!

Reminder: $100 down payment secures spot in summer camp.

This down payment is non-refundable.

No refunds will be given after the start of the first class.

50% off the tuition of each additional camp
