Sam Houston Equestrian Center Summer HorseCamp

Each week of the summer we have a horse camp. Learn about horses, grooming, saddling and riding. Riders can move from beginner on up depending upon how many weeks of camp they take. Learn western, English, bareback! Go on a trail ride! Be in a show!

Riders ages 6 and up are welcome in our 3 level riding experience. Young riders are helped by older students. Learn to curry and brush a horse, clean the hooves, saddle and bridle, and RIDE. Each day is a bit different. Monday is evaluation day. Tuesday is a basic lesson. Wednesday is bareback. Thursday is trail riding. On Friday, we decorate horses for the horse show and parents are welcome. Everyone gets a ribbon.
Riders can sign up for multiple weeks. There's always more to learn. Sign up early for discounts. Sibling discounts are available.
