It is the mission of the San Jacinto Day Foundation to encourage and promote the observance of San Jacinto Day and produce one of the largest fund raising events in the state of Texas, the Pasadena Strawberry Festival.
The San Jacinto Day Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Proceeds from the Pasadena Strawberry Festival benefit San Jacinto Day Foundation projects including:
Scholarships for area high school and college students
Books for college libraries
Preservation and promotion of Texas History and Pasadena
Fundraising efforts for local civic, youth and non-profit group
