Friday August 2nd begins with a Kick-off party downtown at Axelrad Beer Garden, featuring the Summer Jazz Workshop (SJW) All Stars.
The Saturday concert, “A Night of Jazz, Keys, and Song” at the University of Houston Cullen Performance Hall, shines the spotlight on featured artists, Pianist Alex Bugnon and Songstress Oleta Adams.
Sunday closes out the weekend with the Annual SJW Scholarship Jazz Brunch, featuring celebrity guest conductor(s) ceremoniously using the baton of Arturo Toscanini – famous conductor of the NBC Symphony Orchestra in 1950.
