48th Annual Houston Pod Chili Cookoff - Traders Village- Houston

This cookoff is the oldest chili cookoff in the world and is held under the auspices of the Chili Appreciation Society International (CASI). Chili cooks from all across the country, including past and current Terlinqua International Chili Champions will join many other “chiliheads” (as they affectionately call themselves) to vie for the top honors in chili and showmanship. Competition will include CASI Chili, Ron Charlton Memorial Junior Chili Championship, Casi Chili Open Meat, CASI Showmanship and Jackpot Bean Cookoff. There will be entertainment and great food served up both days.
