“ARToberFEST has the relaxed feel of an art stroll,” says Kathy Modzelewski, ARToberFEST director. “The artists are excited to share their work with the visitors in a unique and historic setting.”
ARToberFEST will feature 125 quality artists and artisans – all showcasing their works in a relaxed atmosphere with a variety of antique shops, boutiques, art galleries, and restaurants in and around the festival site.
Offering “the beauty of art in its purest form,” ARToberFEST features all type of media including, clay, drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, pastels, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, textiles, watercolor, and wood. Oftentimes artists can be seen painting at their easel or creating clay pottery on a potter’s wheel during the event.
