All around the globe individuals and groups use the day to celebrate, learn about, and do their part to help the ocean. Local, regional, and state organizations will come together to provide engaging activities to help visitors understand the human connection to the ocean.
Artist Boat partners with the Galveston Park Board of Trustees to host a festival for this day of celebration right here on Galveston Island! This event is family friendly and focuses on education, outreach, and artistry dedicated toward protecting our blue planet. This event includes exhibitors from local ocean-related or sustainable businesses, art workshops, stage performances, beach tours, art competition display, and more activities. Join us at East Beach for some fun in the sun!
