*The event has already taken place on this date: Sun, 09/27/2020
The Arboretum is excited to announce that we're hosting a Parks for Pollinators BioBlitz in partnership with the National Recreation and Park Association! Never heard of a BioBlitz? It's an event where people take and upload photos of plants and wildlife to learn more about nature in our area. The best part is that ANYONE can participate!

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Here's how to get involved:
- Download the FREE iNaturalist app on your phone (here's a quick intro on how to make an observation: https://vimeo.com/162581545)
- Join the Parks for Pollinators 2020: Houston Arboretum Project: https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/parks-for-pollinators-2020-houston-arboretum
- Visit the Arboretum from September 19-27 and use iNaturalist to take photos of any pollinators or flowering plants that you see - any photos taken at the Arboretum will automatically be included in the iNaturalist project
- Sit back and watch as experts from around the world identify your observations!
