Catchers University Baseball Texas Baller’s Mega Camp - Where AmeriPark Sports Complex - 4256 FM 2855, Katy, Texas 77493. All Ages 9 yrs - 15 yrs. Coming July 10 – 12, 2019 Catchers University Baseball in Association with AmeriPark Sports Complex, Brammer’s Athletic, Mizuno and Barcelona Sports will present 3 days of instruction and fun with Instructional Guests: Field # 1 Seth Oliver – Texas Southern University (Pitcher) Zach Wilson - University of New Orleans, Texas A&M Kingsville (Pitcher) Anthony De Jesus - The University of Arizona (Hitting) Earned three varsity letters at Fort Bend Stephen F. Austin High School under coaches Randy Ursery and Kenneth Sharp ... Named a first-team All-District catcher a senior ... Named second-team All-Houston ... Had a .510 district average and had 18 extra base hits in 17 games ... A team captain ... Threw a no-hitter in April of 2011 in an 11-1 victory over Bush. Also hit a grand slam in that game ... Also played football and basketball ... A two-year starter as a running back ... Outstanding work ethic in classroom ... A two-time all-academic team member. Field # 2 Jeff Wilson – Catchers University (Catchers) Master Instructor (Catching) – President & Founder Catchers University –Director of Player Development Katy National Little League – Certified THBCA (Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association) – Member ABCA (American Baseball Coaches Association) – Awarded Best of Instruction 2018/2019 - University of Texas El Paso. Field # 3 Abe Arguello – U of H Coach (Middle Infield & Corners) former assistant coach U of H – Former Catcher U of H - Former Head coach Westside – Former Texas A&M assistant coach – Head Coach Royal High School & Instructor Catchers University – Certified THBCA (Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association) Field # 4 Gerald Young – Houston Astros (Base stealing & Outfield) The Astros franchise record for most stolen bases in a season belongs to Gerald Young. He would finish fifth in the Rookie of the Year voting with a .321/.380/.380 line and 26 stolen bases. The very next year he would set the Astros franchise record for most stolen bases in a season with 65, breaking the previous record of 61 set by Cesar Cedeno in 1977.
