The Kids Oktober Festival

We welcome families and kids of all ages to come help us celebrate this magical moment in Czech history. Our entertainment includes different booths around our museum with activities:
- face-painting
- balloon animals
- snack & kolache station generously provided to us by the Kolache Factory.
- A visiting puppeteer who has a vast knowledge of Czech marionettes
Our collection of popular Czech toys from different eras will be on display. Just like in America, people in the Czech culture have traditional interactive games they played in their childhood.
People will have the chance to participate in a few of these games and win some awesome prizes. With so much to do, the festivities will continue for five hours so everyone will have time for all the amusements we have planned.
This is a great opportunity for people from all over to come and experience all the famous Museum District of Houston has to offer and learn about the unique ways Eastern European culture has influenced the American heritage since the 19th century.
