Coexistence Spoken Word Performance - Miller Outdoor Theatre | Kids Out and About Houston

Coexistence Spoken Word Performance - Miller Outdoor Theatre

The Coexistence Spoken Word Performance features Outspoken Bean and Matthew “Levee” Chavez, creator of Subway Therapy, a participatory public work using Post-it notes.

This action-oriented, arts-based, social justice event will focus on relating Coexistence topics to the performances through spoken word, poetry, dance and movement, music and audience involvement. This event is free and open for upper elementary, middle and high school students. Students are encouraged to bring their own lunch and eat on the hill after the Spoken Word Performance. For more information, please call Holocaust Museum Houston’s Education Department at 713-527-1605 or email us.

Seating for daytime performances is on a “first come, first served” basis for the covered seating area. NO TICKETS ARE NECESSARY. NO RESERVATIONS CAN BE MADE. As always, open seating on the hill. The shows goes on rain or shine. More information for school groups can be found here.
