*The event has already taken place on this date: Sun, 09/13/2026
Sunday, September 13, from 10:45–11:45 am, Sunday Messy Makers: Big Machine Creations invites children ages 2–4 and their caregivers to build, paint, glue, and squish their way through a big-machine-inspired art adventure. Kids will create construction-site masterpieces using paint, textures, clay, toy diggers, and other playful materials, with caregivers participating alongside them. This one-hour class is all about slowing down, getting messy, and making something together—without worrying about cleanup. All supplies are included, and each child gets to take their finished artwork home. Cost is $20 per child, plus a small administrative fee.

During this hands-on art session, children will create their own big-machine-inspired masterpiece using a mix of playful, sensory materials. Think miniature construction sites, toy diggers, clay, paint, glue, textured materials, and other creative elements that let kids build a scene that looks ready for some serious digging.
Children can:
- Paint, glue, squish, and build
- Experiment with texture and mixed materials
- Create a construction-themed art project
- Explore art at their own pace
- Enjoy creative time alongside a parent or caregiver
- Take their finished masterpiece home
The emphasis is on playful creativity and connection rather than perfect results. Caregivers stay and participate for the full session, making it a fun shared Sunday activity.
And perhaps best of all: the mess stays at the studio, while the artwork goes home with you.
