Evening Chill: Texas Wetlands - Houston Zoo

Come out and enjoy this special Evening Chill event in our new Kathrine G. McGovern Texas Wetlands exhibit! See the lush wetland habitat that houses three native Texas species—bald eagles, whooping cranes, and American alligators.

Activities:
Guests can enjoy added family activities including a children’s DJ, special coloring mural, on-site airbrush artist, fun craft stations, giant lawn games, and a recycling activity called Jelly vs. Junk. The Water Play Park will also be open.

Hours: 5:00-8:00 p.m.
All activities are included in Zoo admission and are free for Zoo Members.

Animal Keeper Chats: 

  • 6:00 p.m. – Whooping Crane
  • 6:30 p.m. – Bald Eagle
  • 7:00 p.m. – Whooping Crane
  • 7:30 p.m. – American Alligator
