Family Free Night at the Galveston Children’s Museum is a monthly community event offering free admission for families on the second Thursday of every month from 4:00–7:00 PM. Designed for children ages 2–10, families can explore hands-on exhibits, creative activities, and interactive play spaces that encourage curiosity, imagination, and learning through play in a safe, welcoming environment. This indoor, family-friendly event provides a fun and affordable evening for both local families and visitors to Galveston.
Family Free Night helps ensure all families in our community have access to enriching educational experiences regardless of financial barriers. No registration is required—families are encouraged to simply stop by, play, and create meaningful memories together. Parking is limited in the museum lot, but additional street parking is available along 27th Street when the lot is full.
