Holocaust Museum Houston Opening to the public on May 26

*The event has already taken place on this date: Tue, 05/26/2020
After thoughtful assessment, Holocaust Museum Houston will open to the public on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. Based on current government guidance, our visitor count will be limited to 50% of building capacity at that time.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Prior to reopening, the Museum will begin a thorough deep cleaning and sanitation process of the entire building. This involves spraying the entire facility with a long lasting anti-viral spray that will last at least 30 days. HMH will implement a repetitive third-party assessment and treatment process every 30 days to make sure that the non-infectious integrity of the facility is being maintained, and implement an ongoing daily sanitation and cleaning process for the entire facility through our contracted cleaning company.

All staff and guests will be required to wear a face mask upon entry and to practice social distancing. For those without a mask, one will be provided. In addition, the Museum’s interactive stations within exhibitions will be closed until further notice.

No doubt, the COVID-19 pandemic has created challenging times for all of us. With that said, we are confident that the Museum can open up slowly in a responsible manner and serve the public at the same time.
