Guided Photography Walk
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 11/05/2016
Armand Bayou Nature Center offers unique opportunities for the photographer to capture that great photograph. Our guided walks provide you an overview of this natural habitat, sure to trigger your imagination. Be on the lookout for deer, birds, reptiles, insects, small mammals and perhaps even a rare bobcat or coyote (most ABNC mammals are nocturnal). Native flora offers an ever changing landscape throughout the seasons. The Martyn Farm offers a snapshot of the late 1800's farm life in Texas.
The guides are volunteers who have worked in and around Armand Bayou Nature Center for many years. They are familiar with ABNC's history, ecosystems and trails. During the walk, the guides will identify flora and fauna, and give you a new appreciation of the magnificent scenery and photo opportunities offered at the Nature Center.
