Kairat Sydykov, born in Kazakhstan, discovered his passion for art in childhood and began painting seriously after moving to Houston in 2010. A geophysicist with a PhD, he studied at the Glassell School of Art at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
Working primarily in oil, Kairat combines glazing, impasto, layered, and alla prima techniques. His exhibition Homeland and Roads features scenes of Kazakhstan, travel-inspired works, and paintings reflecting his love of tennis.
His works are held in private collections in the United States.
All works of art are available for purchase.
Admission is free.
The gallery is open Monday to Friday 9:30 am – 3 pm, Saturday 9:30 am – 1 pm
