Location: Northwest Crossing Building 2, 7676 Hillmont Street, Suite 111, Houston, TX 77040

Filmmaking

Six Pixels' classic Filmmaking course takes students behind the scenes as they learn how to make their own short movies. A structured, STEAM-based curriculum builds a multitude of skills through carefully designed challenges, teaching students how to develop story ideas, direct, operate camera and sound, and edit their work. Working together individually and in groups, students will get the opportunity to create at least one short film per month, turning class time into movies that they’ll keep forever.

Film Acting

Meeting at the same time, Six Pixels' Movie Acting course gives students an opportunity to act in a variety of movies being produced by our filmmaking students. Movie Acting will focus on improvisation, acting techniques, storytelling, staging and blocking for the camera, and working together as a team, as students learn how to act for short films.

Both classes meet weekly. Students can join at any time if there is availability in the course.

Recommended for ages 8-15 - classes are held in person
