Homeschool Academy: Stop Motion Animation
Turn imagination into animation! Students ages 7–13 can learn stop-motion filmmaking while creating their own original animated stories.-

Bring stories to life one frame at a time in Six Pixels Film & STEM Academy’s Homeschool Academy Stop Motion Animation class.
Students will learn the fundamentals of animation and visual storytelling while creating original stop-motion projects. Through hands-on activities, students will explore how movement, lighting, camera placement, editing, and sound can work together to create the illusion of motion.
Students will also develop skills in:
- Storytelling and visual composition
- Animation and stop-motion techniques
- Creative problem-solving
- Collaboration and communication
- Planning and project development
Students will work individually and in small groups to create original stop-motion projects, with the course culminating in a final video showcase where students can share their work.
