Six Pixels Studios' introductory Filmmaking class takes kids behind the scenes as they learn the fundamentals of how to make their own short films. Students will learn how to use the equipment, will review three basic types of camera techniques, and will work on filming a 30-sec short movie in which they will work collaboratively to develop a story idea, direct, act, operate camera, and if time allows, edit their work. At the conclusion of this class, kids will be able to jump into any of Six Pixels' monthly class offerings for a deeper dive into areas of interest (i.e. filmmaking, photography, stop motion, YouTube production, animation and special effects.)
This is a one-time class and is limited to 8 students per class. Spots must be reserved at least 24 hours in advance of class.
Tuition: $25 per person
