Joyful Story Hour

On Thursday, June 20, from 10 to 11 a.m., Houston Chronicle news columnist and children’s book author Joy Sewing will entertain and inspire children as she reads her picture book Ava and the Prince, a delightful story about her two adorable rescue boxer dogs. Her message about family, love and animal empathy will not only captivate young readers but also inspire them to spread kindness in the world. Each child who attends will receive a free copy of her book.
