Kids Cooking Summer Camp

Expand your child’s mind and taste buds this summer with our deliciously fun summer cooking camps.  Chefs will make two to three recipes daily from scratch and will learn both fundamental and advanced culinary and baking techniques including kitchen safety and knife skills (don’t worry, we use the kid-safe Curious Chef knives). Kids will explore new flavors and foods and you will be amazed at the confidence and independence your kids show, as they proudly create and eat dishes they make themselves.

Themes during camp will include:

• “Cooking Around the World” with students making Mexican Roasted Poblano Chicken Tomatillo Enchiladas & A Taste of Italy Handmade Pizzas & Homemade Ricotta Cheese!
• “Afternoon Tea” featuring homemade Cranberry & Orange Scones, a variety of Tea Sandwiches & Fruit Teas
• “Knife Skills 101” with students learning basic and advanced knife safety and techniques for Creamy Pasta Primavera, Vietnamese Spring Rolls and more
• “Let’s Brunch” teaching students the secrets behind the Perfect Scrambled Eggs for Breakfast Tacos, Sweet Strawberry Chocolate Crepes & Quiches with Homemade Crusts
• “Dessert Extravaganza” whipping up basic and advanced baking techniques for Homemade Lemon Custard Tarts, Strawberry Cream Cheese Pies and Double Chocolate Brownies!
• “TV Competition Cooking” where Figlia will share our personal experiences on infamous kids cooking shows, helping students prepare for their future Celebrity Chef status! Kids will create and compete with their unique dishes and Figlia will tips and help prep your young chefs for the next casting calls if they are interested!
