Hourly guided birdwatching tours: Join experienced guides, learn where the best birding spots are so that you can observe a diverse array of bird species in their natural habitat.
Educational talks: Learn fascinating facts about birding and the use of binoculars and scopes. Meet the Bird Ambassadors from the Wildlife Center of Texas.
Family-friendly activities: Enjoy scavenger hunts, bird-themed crafts, and interactive games that will delight children and adults alike.
Eclipse information and activities: The first 50 eclipse station visitors will receive eclipse viewing glasses in time for the April 8th Total Eclipse.
We have activities for the entire family, including face painting, henna hand art, bird origami, and scavenger hunts. Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to 20-40 minute presentations by Master Naturalists (see the Speaker Schedule below). Native wildflower seeds will also be distributed to all attendees.
