Art - Digital Art:

Campers put their stylistic techniques and creativity to the test by mixing art with technology and programming.

Using tablets, campers will create 3D characters and incorporate them into their own computer games using Scratch software.

They will end the week with stop-motion! From creating storyboards to crafting their own unique sets and characters - campers will take on the role of director and producer, capturing frame by frame in order to create their own motion pictures.

Art - Stop-Motion Xplosion!:

Stop Motion Animation is the classic art of animating through the movement of physical objects frame by frame, picture by picture, and strung together to create a moving masterpiece! Various famous films have been created in such a way, such as Wallace and Gromit, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Kubo and The Two Strings, and Coraline! Campers will have the opportunity to explore LEGO Stop Motion & Clay-mation while learning about the various techniques that go into making fun animated films!

Coding - Game Maker Studio:

How do we create our first game? We'll be using the GameMaker Studio 2 software to work on a basic platformer game in the Metroidvania style. We'll learn how to code user interfaces and control mechanisms in order to be able to create the necessary systems that can make a game work. We'll also work with graphics manipulation to learn how to edit our graphics to make them suitable for games, so we will learn some image editing skills as well. By the end of this project, we'll have a complete platformer game project including movement, enemies, traps, a health system, and level navigation!

Coding - Java & Modding Minecraft

Campers will learn about Java as well as how to use it to create coding modifications for the game Minecraft. We'll learn how to use Eclipse and how to set up a developer environment as well as more advanced topics in Java including classes, objects, and how we can use them to create new Minecraft content such as new items, blocks, or new game functionalities!

Coding - Python

YouTube, Google, Instagram, Spotify - What do all of these software programs have in common? Python! Venture into the practically infinite realm of computer programming language that is the foundation of many of the biggest websites. Campers will learn this popular coding language to complete several projects, such as creating a basic role playing game.

Robotics - EV3 Mindstorms

Its time to master the Mindstorm! Campers will go learn the basics and fundamentals of the EV3 rover by assembling it from scratch and programming it to complete numerous challenges and obstacles. From ultrasonic to infrared, students will combine multiple types of sensors with motors and block programming to create a practically autonomous rover that is able to measure, respond, and react to their environment. Are you up to the challenge?

Robotics - Mechanics, Motors & Sensors:

Campers learn how motors, sensors, and other mechanics are used in everyday tech, and put their knowledge to the test by building mechanized Lego constructs ... but the fun doesn't stop there! They will combine engineering and circuitry to create their own custom models of planes, cars and more, using D/C motors!

Science - Astronomy

So much mystery and darkness beyond our atmosphere. Join us as we embark on a journey beyond this Earth to learn about what lies beyond the clouds by making models of planets and moons, recreating craters, and even building our own space colonies!

Science - Biology

Campers will put on their green thumbs and molecular vision to the test by becoming a biologist for the week! The realm of biology opens up the door for students to learn about ecosystems, animals, and plants, as well as the building blocks of life and the amazing human body.

Science - Chemistry

Chemistry is a fun, messy and interactive science! Campers will learn all about molecules, chemical reactions, and why things go boom! We will explore acids and bases, endothermic and exothermic reactions, phase changes and even make our own creations of wacky fun projects such as, non-Newtonian fluids, Bouncy polymers, and Bubbling lava bottle.

Science - Dinosaurs

Did someone say fossil excavation? Jump in with us as we learn, dig, and make dino molds as we assume the role of a paleontologist!

Science - Earth Science

Oceans, weather, and natural landforms make our Earth unique. Campers will explore these topics by creating models of the atmosphere and oceans, weather instruments, and even a volcano. Come learn all there is about our magnificent Earth!

Science - Environmental Science

Campers will learn how to use natural resources efficiently as well as create solutions to problems that strain our global ecosystems

Science - Physics & Laws of Motion

What do slingshots, rockets and Newton's cradle all have in common? Physics! We will investigate the laws of motion, electromagnetic spectrum, and transfer of energy by creating numerous models and participating in activities that enrich your understanding of these topics.

Public Speaking & Communication:

Teachers will integrate communication skills within our various camps. We believe that all students should learn how to express their ideas and opinions in a constructive and effective manner.

Financial Literacy:

This mini-course is integrated throughout the Summer Camp to introduce our students to fundamental financial skills. Topics include: how to save money, how to budget, and the meanings and uses of a variety of financial terms.

Internet Safety:

his mini-course is integrated throughout the Summer Camp anytime students use the computer to go online. Students will be taught how to keep information private, how to browse safely, and how to avoid cyber-bullying.
