Groundhogs- To See or Not To See - Kickerillo-Mischer Preserve

Is a groundhog a squirrel or something else? Is a squirrel a groundhog? Come help us get ready for Groundhog Day on February 2 and celebrate this wily creature. Groundhogs may not be native to this area, but we will also discuss some of their local cousins and determine what mammal group they fit in to and whether it matters if they see their shadow.

Please dress for the weather. Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring a refillable water bottle. A welcome email with a map will be sent to participants 2 days prior to the event with further detail.
