Tricks & Treats Among the Trees
FREE, FUN, & FAMILY-FRIENDLY
Trick-or-treat down the Faces of the Forest Trail and complete games and activities for prizes as costumed volunteers hand out candy. Along the way, discover friendly tree faces, such as Mr. Oakley, and animals including the Pileated Woodpecker, raccoon, squirrel, cardinal, fox, and bat. The trail begins just behind the Nature Center and extends across the road, exiting on the Canoe Launch Trail by the turtle pond.
"Children will have room to explore among our friendly volunteers in a safe environment," said Jones Park Director Darlene Conley. "We'll also have plenty of family-friendly activities such as carnival games, crafts, live creepy critters, and hayrides."
Proceeds from carnival-inspired games benefit Jones Park. With leadership from Commissioner R. Jack Cagle, Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center is a Harris County Precinct 4 facility located at 20634 Kenswick Drive in Humble. All programs are free of charge and open to the public.
