Summer Horse Camp offers high quality instruction in a beautiful, safe environment.
Each day of camp features grooming, tacking, riding and more aboard our proven, reliable lesson horses. Children ages 5 & up are welcome to our camp. Each child is given LOTS of one on one time with instructors & counselors so they learn to be comfortable & confident around the horses.
Every week of our 2019 camp features 4 days of skill building & Friday is our Achievement Test Day where every participant will receive the opportunity to get an Achievement Certificate in Grooming, Tacking, Haltering & Leading as well as Riding. Riding Tests are set up to accommodate students of different levels so the fun & skill-building never stops.
When not with the horses, campers enjoy arts & crafts, games, guest speakers & more. We include water & indoor activities so the children are kept comfortable during hot summer afternoons. VPF provides iced eater &/or Gatorade at all times.
