Hypothesis Haven Science Club is the first and only educational program for children ages 5-13 that goes behind the scenes to teach how scientists find the answers to medicine’s biggest questions. May 13th:
Join Hypothesis Haven for an interactive health program to learn how the heart powers the entire body. Topics include the parts of the cardiovascular system, how to form and test a hypothesis and how to keep the heart healthy and strong.
Supplies Needed:
- 1 sheet of paper
- 1 Pencil or pen
May 27th:
Join Hypothesis Haven for an interactive health program to learn how the body breaks down food that we eat. Topics include the parts of the digestive system, types of digestion, and how researchers are using the digestive system to make exciting scientific discoveries.
Supplies Needed:
- 1 balloon
- Half a slice of bread or 2 tablespoons of oats
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons of white vinegar
