Westlake Lutheran Academy offers a Christ-centered education for students in PreK through 10^th Grade. WLA provides a continuous educational pathway for our students to be known, supported, and challenged. At each stage of the journey, faith is woven into daily life through study of the Bible, prayer, and weekly Chapel. Academic excellence is cultivated through engaging, student-centered instruction led by dedicated educators committed to our mission. Below are a few highlights:

Early Childhood & Pre-K (ages 3&4)

Our focus is to build strong academic, social, and spiritual foundations in a nurturing, hands-on environment.
Enrichment including Art, Library, Music, Spanish, Dance and Physical Education.

Lower School (Kinder–5th Grade)

Students develop a love of learning through strong foundational academics, enrichment opportunities, and support of the “whole child”.
Enrichment including Art, Library, Music, Spanish, Robotics, Dance and Physical Education. Technology-based learning with 1:1 iPad access.

Middle School (6th–8th Grade)

Students build upon their academic foundation, strengthen essential collaborative skills and character, focus on executive functioning skills which are essential in preparation for High School.
Electives include Spanish, Robotics, Art, Dance, Band, Choir, Theater. Competitive athletics such as Basketball, Flag Football, Volleyball, Cheer, Dance, and Track.

High School (9th–10th Grade)

Westlake offers a rigorous academic program backed by support within a strong spiritual community along with fine arts and athletic opportunities based on individual interest.
WLA Graduation Requirements: Multidisciplinary Endorsement (30 Credits Total) TEA Requires 26.
STEM Endorsement: can be achieved with a Math or Science focus. Math focus: requires 5 Math credits, must include Algebra II and two additional Math courses. Science focus: requires 5 Science credits, must include Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Our GLC (GRIT, Leadership, Career) Academy fosters leadership, service, and career exploration.
