Musical Theater Workshop Junior (Grades 3-5)
For students in Grades 3-5, this class is a wonderful way to introduce your child to the world of musical theater, develop skills, and prepare for stage performances in a fun, nurturing environment.
In this class, students receive 30 minutes of dedicated “triple threat” training in each of the musical theater disciplines: acting, singing, and dance! Every week students will explore monologues and scenes, songs, and dances from your favorite musicals. Each workshop's theme changes, so this class is repeatable, and over several sessions, students will learn about many diverse musical theater styles and writers.
PREREQUISITE:
None. However, we encourage all new-to-HITS and first-time theater students to participate in this class before enrolling in performance classes.
