Week 5 July 5th – July 9th
Mermaids and Pirates
Ages 4, T/TH 9AM – Noon
Aargh!!! Focusing on swashbuckling and “mermaizing” imaginative play, children make pirate hats, mermaid projects and imagine lives as mermaids and pirates through songs, fingerplay and maybe, even delight in a visit from a pirate.

Knights and Dragons
Ages 4, T/TH 9AM – Noon
The medieval times sets a creative and imaginary journey through storybooks and interactive knight songs and fingerplay, while creating artistic dragon and knight art projects and sprinkling in a little math and movement.

Scientifically ARTrageous
Ages 5&6, M-F 1PM – 4PM
Combining the curiosity of science and the beauty of art, children will embrace an exciting opportunities to discover basic concepts of science through art experiences. Knowing that children love to explore, experiment and discover, the focus is to build on this natural curiosity while combining the beauty of art and the fascination of science. Children will share this journey discovering science magic tricks and exploring the physical and chemical properties of different elements, compounds and mixtures.

Crazy About Cultures
Age 7&8, M-F 9AM – Noon
Using the lure of geography, the mysteries of history and the diversity of various cultures and art processes from around the world, artistic travelers explore hands-on interactive activities to experience an imaginary journey through different countries or continents, while discovering and experiencing various facts about food, clothing, art and language. Children’s best discoveries of global awareness are made when experiences are tactile and meaningful in their everyday life.
