Young explorers become junior ornithologists at Bird Buddies Camp! Through nature walks, hands-on science, and creative art projects, campers will learn to identify native Texas birds by sight and sound while fueling a lifelong passion for nature.

Bird Buddies Camp
June 8-12, 2026: 9 am – Noon
Ages 6-8 (children must be correct camp age by the first day of camp)

From tiny Carolina Chickadees to majestic Great Horned Owls, Bird Buddies Camp explores the diversity of native Texas birds. By honing observation skills, young campers will become junior ornithologists able to identify local bird species by sight and sound. Nature walks, hands-on science investigations, games and fun art projects will fuel your camper’s passion for learning about birds and nature. Spaces are limited, so beak quick about registering!
