Corn Mazes in the Houston area
Nothing says wholesome fall family fun like a corn maze!
Some corn mazes are harder to complete than others; if you have younger children, it can be wise to call ahead and find out whether the maze is appropriate for them, or if there is an easy way out when little legs get tire. Usually, the mazes take between 45 minutes and 2 hours to complete. Wear clothing and shoes appropriate for the weather; if it has been raining, boots are in order!Get some great exercise with your family in the fresh air! Dewberry FarmDewberry Farm is located in the country west of Katy, a short drive from Houston!
With miles of paths cut in the maze, you and the kids are sure to: 1, get lost and 2, have a great time navigating the twists and turns in search of the exit to the living puzzle. Every year a new design is cut into the eight acre corn field.
This year's maze celebrates the 175th anniversary of statehood for Texas. The state motto for Texas is "Friendship". Open to public Saturdays and Sundays from September 26 through November 15. Also open on Fridays in October (10 a.m. - 6 p.m.). Farm will be open all Saturdays in October from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. Come enjoy the flashlight maze on those nights.
