Camp Super Writers
A two-week intensive handwriting program, led by our Occupational Therapy team, developing handwriting skills through multi-sensory play-based instruction. Children attend group in dyads with a partner of similar age and needing similar supports. Home programs are given with ideas for follow through at home at the end of camp.

This two week camp pairs your child and another camper of similar age and needs into a dyad for intensive, but engaging, work on handwriting skills. Groups are 1 hr. and meet 4 days per week for a 2-week period. The camp utilizes Handwriting Without Tears® methodology along with facilitation strategies used by our OT team. This helps develop handwriting skills through multi-sensory, play-based instruction. Children move, touch, feel and manipulate real objects as they learn the habits and skills essential for writing.
