Dance Discovery encourages dancers to explore movement using their imagination through Dance, Music and Art. Time is given for a mixture of structured directions for moving as well as plenty of time for individual explorations in a non-competitive environment. Students will be exposed to dance vocabulary and will grow in their ability to link movement together, challenging their memory in addition to creativity, strength and flexibility. The information shared in this camp provides a foundation for students to progress toward genre specific dance studies in ballet, jazz, and/or modern dance.
