Ages 9-17
Calling all dancers! Join us for The Dancer’s Workshop, a one-day, hands-on experience designed to introduce dancers to the academic side of their craft. This immersive camp offers bite-sized lessons inspired by college-level dance courses. Dancers will alternate between short learning lectures and active movement.
- Kinesiology for Dancers – Learn how your body moves and the science behind technique.
- Conditioning – Build strength and flexibility to support your dancing.
- Dance History & Repertoire – Discover the stories behind famous dance styles and learn a piece inspired by history.
- Nutrition for Dancers – Fuel your body with smart choices to keep you energized.
- Creative Movement – Explore self-expression through improvisation and guided exercises.
- Choreography Lab – Apply everything you've learned and create your own dance.
Class Attire: Come with comfy clothes and a leotard underneath. Bring jazz shoes if you have them.
Class fee $55.
Bring a lunch and a pop-top water bottle.
We will use a car line at parent pick-up. Pull up with the driver's side door closest to MDSA's door. A staff member will bring your child out to you.
Please be on time. Parents who arrive after 1:10 pm will be charged a $10 fee.

Once registered, feel free to join. Sometimes it takes us a few days to grant access.
