Welcome to our specialized summer camp series designed for aspiring engineers and scientists aged 7-14. This program is tailored to inspire innovation, cultivate problem-solving skills, and foster a deep love for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through a variety of hands-on, interactive camps. Each camp is structured to challenge young minds, encourage teamwork, and provide a dynamic learning environment where creativity meets critical thinking. Our camps for older kids offer a unique opportunity to delve into the realms of engineering and science. By solving complex problems, working in teams, and applying their knowledge in creative ways, participants will gain valuable skills and experiences that ignite their passion for STEM. Join us for a summer of exploration, learning, and fun, where every day brings a new adventure in the world of engineering and science.
Mission to Mars: Missions and Mechanics
Dive deep into the engineering and science behind NASA’s Mars Rovers. Campers will explore the technology that powers these explorers, from landing mechanisms to scientific instruments, engaging in projects that mirror real-world aerospace engineering tasks.
Mission to Mars with Minecraft
This camp merges the creativity of Minecraft with the technical challenges of colonizing Mars. Students will work on missions within a custom Mars-themed Minecraft world, applying principles of engineering and teamwork to solve problems and complete objectives.
Mission to Mars: Orbiters and Landers
Focus on the cutting-edge technology of Mars orbiters and landers. Campers will learn about the design and function of these spacecraft, engaging in simulations and building projects that reflect the real missions aiming to uncover the secrets of the Red Planet.
Wreck it Week
A camp where destruction meets design. Campers will engage in engineering challenges requiring them to build structures such as bridges, only to test their limits. This hands-on experience teaches principles of mechanical engineering and physics in an exhilarating format.
Mission to Mars: Survival on the Red Planet
Prepare for life on Mars by designing habitats and life-support systems. Campers will tackle the challenges of creating a sustainable living environment on Mars, from generating oxygen to growing food, highlighting the importance of environmental and aerospace engineering.
World Games Robotics
Robots take center stage in this camp, where campers will build and program robots to compete in sports-inspired challenges. Using VEX IQ kits and block coding, participants learn the basics of robotics and computer science, culminating in a thrilling robotics competition.
Out of this World
Design the future of lunar living by creating projects essential for survival on the moon. Campers will work in teams to design structures, vehicles, and systems that could support human life in extraterrestrial environments, emphasizing collaboration, innovation, and aerospace engineering.
World Games
A camp that combines the spirit of the Olympics with engineering challenges. Participants will design devices and tackle projects inspired by various sports, learning about the physics of movement, energy, and the engineering design process in a competitive yet collaborative setting.
