END OF SEMESTER PERFORMANCE: The semester’s activities culminate in an hour-long recital, Global Bazaar, inspired by musicals from different cultures. We invite and encourage all family members and friends to attend, applaud, and enjoy the recital on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 11:00 AM.
The River Performing and Visual Arts Center, a program of TUTS Education, provides an accessible, affordable, fine arts education for individuals with disabilities and their siblings.
Engage in the fun of music, dance, acting and visual arts! Students develop confidence and expand social skills through the creative process, rehearsal, and performances. Classes held at 1475 West Gray.
The 10-week program includes classes each Saturday morning from September 17 thru December 3 (excluding October 29 & November 26). In-class rehearsal scheduled for November 19.
PROGRAM DETAILS
Medical Information – A registered nurse is on duty. Please provide detailed medical information on the Registration Form. If medication needs to be dispensed, a permission form must be completed.
Registration Fee: $25 per student; payment of registration fee must be submitted with enrollment form.
Confirmation of Registration: A packet will be emailed that includes a confirmation of registration and information about dress and other important program facts.
Eligibility: Although there are no restrictions based on diagnosis or mobility, River staff reserves the right to withdraw a child from the program if he/she poses a safety risk to participants, staff, or volunteers; if the child poses a safety risk to him/herself; if the child is unwilling to stay in the classroom the majority of class time, and/or if the child frequently disrupts the classroom activities.
