Enjoy creative fun with Summer Art Camps at the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts! Each week is packed with creative crafts, artful activities, and marvelous masterpieces, giving kids and tweens the chance to explore new techniques, express their creativity, and have fun making art all summer long!
The Pearl’s Summer Art Camps are designed for ages 5 to 8 and 9 to 13. Held each week from June 16 through July 31, camps meet Tuesday through Friday in all-day or half-day formats. Families may register for all six weeks or select their favorites.
This week’s camp for ages 9 to 13 is Splatter Studio!
Unleash the chaos! Inspired by the action painting style of Jackson Pollock, this camp is all about the joy of the process. Campers will explore how gravity, speed, and motion create one-of-a-kind art.
Campers will also spend time in the galleries of the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts, exploring the summer exhibition, Chromatica: A World in Color. Surrounded by art of every color and style, campers will be inspired to head back to their studio classrooms and create their own masterpieces.
