Play Performance is perfect for students that want to focus on strengthening their acting skills. Auditions take place the first day of class and will be cast by the next morning. Students will warm up with theater and improv games and focus on character development, vocal projection, and additional acting/blocking skills. Throughout this process, we will prepare and rehearse a 40 minute One-Act, fully staged and costumed play. All experience levels welcome with great roles for everyone! Our play selection will be determined according to class size.
DATES: July 17th-July 28th (Mondays-Fridays) TIME: 1:00pm-4:30pm
PERFORMANCES: Saturday, July 29th at 2:30pm and 4:30pm (Students must be available for both performances and all rehearsals)
TICKETS: $10.00 per person and will be on sale closer to show time!
**Please note: Ticket sales will NOT be open to the public. Due to seating restrictions, each family will have the opportunity to purchase up to 7 tickets total, on the private “Parent Portal”. Should we have tickets leftover once everyone has purchased, we will open up additional ticket sales, for those who may need more.
