The Rice Biotech Academy is an immersive hands-on experience for students in grades 10 and 11 to investigate genetics using biotech lab techniques with real-world applications.

The Rice Biotech Academy is an immersive, hands-on experience for high school students currently in 9th through 11th grade (2023-2024 school year), to investigate genetics using biotech lab techniques with real-world applications. Students will form a deeper understanding of genetics and build confidence in their knowledge of science to help them pursue STEM careers. This program is offered in collaboration with Design Connect Create.
