Say STEM Camp

Rice’s week-long residential Say STEM Camp features lessons by award-winning college professors, project-based activities and practice in creatively communicating STEM findings. Students from across the state as well as other countries take part in the challenging and interactive STEM curriculum that fosters development of teamwork and communication skills, all while being immersed in a college-ready environment. In fact, more than 300 students from Texas and surrounding areas attended in 2018 from ISDs and regions such as San Marcos, McAllen, DFW and New Orleans.

The camp has four sessions: July 7-12, 14-19, 21-26 and July 28-Aug. 2. Special weeks are available for dual-language learners and students ranked in the top three of their class. Registration is open now to all rising 8th-12th graders and can be completed here.
