Our STAAR tutor will split the tutoring schedule into two. The first half will be focused on making sure your child has a solid grasp of each concept on the test by going through the in-house questions. Also, because the STAAR has a specific pattern of questioning, our camp will go through several past STAAR questions to familiarize your child with the test’s format. The second half of the tutoring session will focus on teaching time management skills. Believe it or not, even the most intelligent students can perform poorly on standardized tests due to inadequate time management skills. Our tutors coach their students on how to effectively use the allotted time to their advantage.
