Artist Boat has educational four hour Eco-Art Kayak Adventures every weekend. In the summer, they also offer free interpretive beach tours that answer many questions visitors have about Galveston Beaches.
The Bayou Preservation Association focuses on four key programs to accomplish its mission to “celebrate, protect and restore the natural richness of all our bayous and streams.” Cross-cutting projects and initiatives – those that address the goals of more than one program – also continue, such as the annual Symposium, public policy review and response, and communications tools.
Programs for youth, adults, and families, there’s truly something for everyone. Kids can build skills and friendships through sports, arts, and leadership programs, while adults find ways to stay active, grow, and connect with others.
We off a variety of classes such as Homeschool Recess, Youth Dance, Line Dance, Music Lessons, Youth Mental Health classes, Tennis, Pickleball and Volleyball sessions, Camping and Kayaking.
